Becoming A Vegan

Being a Vegan may be easier and more beneficial than it looks.
It’s the beginning that can be a bit tricky. But if you put your mind to it, you can do it with no problem. Vegan diet does not include any ANIMAL By-Products. In addition to meat, Vegans do not consume dairy products, honey or eggs.  So what to eat ? A vegan diet relies on plant-based foods including fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, and seeds. So there is plenty to eat. 🙂
For starters, the hardest part is to put some time into doing research about this kind of diet.
People who say “it’s unhealthy
” “you won’t gain muscle” “You’re Vegan? so where do you get your protein from?” “it’s expensive” etc. And anything you answer, just makes them laugh and continue with their life.
And that’s completely fine. But please do keep in mind that 99.99% of those people are too lazy even to do some research about what they are actually eating and how toxic it is.
Some benefits:
Vegan diets are cholesterol-free and low in saturated fat. Which means it reduces the risk of heart diseases or any kind of cancer. It is full of antioxidant – rich foods like vegetables, fruits, beans, legumes, and more. Antioxidants are important because they have the ability to protect your cells from free radicals caused by a number of things including pollutants in the air such as tobacco smoke and radiation. By going vegan you see an increase in energy, you’ll be more awake than ever, but once again please do keep in mind to read and make some research about this diet.
Some cons:
You’ll have to spend some extra time in the supermarket by reading labels and learning what actually is being put in foods that everyday normal guy is eating.
In addition to not eating meat, fish, or poultry, vegans steer clear of any animal products and by-products. That includes honey, eggs, dairy, cosmetics derived from animal products, and more. If you choose to go vegan, you may have a hard time choosing from the menu when dining out. And if your friends are going out and everybody orders huge steaks or burgers and you are the only one who is eating salad or something plant based, it does not mean that you are weird, it means you are actually take care of your self.
Since vegans forego typical protein sources like meat and eggs, they have to incorporate it through different means. If you’re thinking about going vegan, it’s time to stock up on soy, quinoa, lentils, and beans. And beware of overly-processed meat substitutes, which can be packed with sodium and preservatives. Check labels before opting for that frozen tofu burger!
And last but not least : If you are not serious about the diet you may and probably will encounter vitamin and mineral loss. So make sure to eat lots of leafy greens.
Being a vegan shows you, that you can be way more productive during the day. Feel lighter after a meal,  heighten your senses because your body will have less toxins. + you won’t support animal killing and make the planet greener. Once you have the knowledge about the food, you will be able to make a healthy and most suitable choice for your body.
